We’re looking to hire for the position of Director of Education & Educational Programs, which plays the key role in designing, implementing, and advancing the Center’s portfolio of educational activities across multiple audience groups, as well as developing resources and partnerships that support these activities. Getting Around Town on Streetsblog “These maps don’t just reflect how the city used to look: they’re also a reflection of what technologies were available, and how those technologies shaped residents' perceptions of the region,” writes Christian MilNeil of Streetsblog in a recent review of our new exhibition, Getting Around Town: Four Centuries of Mapping Boston in Transit. Freelance Position: Allmaps UX/UI Developer We’re looking for an experienced and creative UX/UI developer who can both design and implement user interfaces to help us refine existing features in the Allmaps platform, incorporate design feedback from user testing, and ultimately design and implement new user interfaces within the Allmaps ecosystem. You’ll design and create user interfaces that are simple and fun to use, both on desktop computers and smartphones and you’ll work on a design system and reusable components that will be used throughout the Allmaps project.
