From parks to planes, how has the East Boston landscape changed over time?

Though now dominated by the Boston Logan Airport, the landscape of East Boston was once comprised of marshes, coastlines, views of the harbor islands, and a few notable parks. In their latest article, Ezra Acevedo connects the twentieth-century construction of Logan Airport with environmental justice concerns felt today.
